A wide open contest gets proceedings under way and many would have chances on there best form. The main protagonists appear to be Blushing Prince, Billy Bathwick and Molly's Secret and we will take a chance on Blushing Prince. The gelding from the Linda Stubbs yard is on a good mark on turf compared to his AW rating and if he can reproduce his latest effort on the AW here when third behind Paso Doble he will be hard to beat. Billy Bathwick rates the main danger on his latest second behind Mr Leah and if he reproduces that effort he will not be far away. Molly's Secret is another in fair form but she gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with her when fifth off this mark behind Noble Calling last time. Of the remainder Blue Streak and Mythical King have both dropped to handy marks and are from shrewd yards so are worth a cautionary look in the market.
