Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for thew opener and the main protagonists appear to be Lady Sunset Orpenberry and passion Fruit, and we will take a chance on Lady Sunset. The filly from the Kevin Ryan yard was noted staying on well behind Bachelor Of Arts last time at Chester. This stiffer track will suit and she will be hard to beat with conditions in her favour. Orpenberry is from a yard that is doing well with its two year olds and she will not need to be up to much to win this. However she is bred to come into her own over a longer trip. Passion Fruit is a half sister to a juvenile winner in Boldly Goes and she is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of there remainder Tribalinna is another that catches the eye on breeding but her stable are not renowned for first time out two year old winners.
