Verdict

Cressex Katie, Midnight Parkes and Barrantes are likely to be among the leading fancies for another difficult handicap to solve. Cressex Katie has been a credit to connections and rarely runs a bad race. The handicapper has had plenty of chances to look at her though and with a draw of three it may be worth opposing her. Barrantes and Midnight Parkes finished second and third respectively to Carribbean Coral over five furlongs at Sandown. Over one furlong further, and based on a fine fourth to Najeebon over the trip, we believe that Philip Robinson's mount will reverse form today. We will side at larger odds with Fleetwood Bay. He was not disgraced when finishing seventh to Hit's Only Money in an earlier contest and the handicapper does at least look to be giving him half a chance these days. Ridicule is watched in the market if there is any rainfall ahead of tonight's contest.
