RAGSTA, Hachi and Nicosia make the shortlist here with Ragsta taken to continue Richard Hannon's recent success story. In a race where there is little apparent form to work with, it may pay to keep an eye on the newcomers. Mick Channon saddles Nicosia, out of a winning sprinter, and related to winning speedy types. She looks the part on breeding, and the market should be heeded to help assess her chance. Hachi, a daughter of Kyllachy, was well supported when in mid-division at Salisbury recently, behind another speedy Hannon type who won again on Friday evening. She should be suited by the good ground here-it was fast on her previous starts, and presumably she has shown ability at home. Ragsta is quickly dropped into selling company, failing to build on a promising debut when a one paced fourth on the Lingfield Polytrack. The stables juveniles are flying however, and Ragsta can take advantage of this drop in grade.
