Verdict

It took a while for DIVINE LAW to wear down Dragline over 7f at Haydock so the step up to a mile should suit Richard Hannon's colt, who will handle any ease in the ground. Taper Tantrum made all at Sandown and will probably adopt front-running tactics again but may just set things up for one of the hold-up horses. Popeswood went close at Newbury eight days ago and is a tough sort but stable companion Euthenia hasn't built on a second at Chester in June and The Paco Kid will probably need to drop a few pounds before getting involved in the finish of a handicap.
