Verdict

NEWTON'S LAW and My Inspiration both have a handicap mark of 73 but Brian Meehan's gelding is just preferred today as his Ascot third last month is the best recent form. The likely market principals have had plenty of chances, however, so don't rule out Eternitys Gate, who has yet to finish out of the frame, or Findhorn Magic. The latter has plenty of scope and Mon Cigar shaped nicely at Salisbury last month having run green in the early stages.
