A perilously tricky conclusion to Family Fun Day with CHANDIKA no more than a hopeful nomination. Clive Cox has enjoyed an excellent season and this filly has just about shown enough in maidens over six furlongs to be of interest on her handicap bow. She's shown speed before fading on two of those occasions so could be better suited by this first attempt at the minimum. Speak The Truth is capable of holding his form and is still on a decent mark although he's yet to run with cut in the ground. That shouldn't be a problem for Love You Louis although he's no more than fairly handicapped whilst the drop in trip doesn't look an obvious move for Keep Dancing or Corton Charlemagne whilst Imaginary Diva and Avrilo have had their share of chances although the latter makes a little appeal. Of more interest is Calypso Girl whose sole success came on soft ground thirteen starts ago but her rating has tumbled from a high of 78 to today's mark of just 58. Her recent efforts aren't all that encouraging but her trainer should never be underestimated and she's worth a market check as is the selection, Chandika.
