Verdict
COOL EBONY may be able to continue the good run of form currently being enjoyed by Peter Makin but the in-form Tanforan and Global Village could have a say in the matter. Rain would be a negative for the selection given that all four career wins have been achieved with the word firm in the going description but he's slipped back to an attractive mark and could be worth chancing with his yard flying high. Tanforan and Feasible have both enjoyed decent spells but have had to pay their dues to the handicapper as a result and look vulnerable accordingly. Feasible has plenty to prove on turf and the former rates the more solid option. Magnitude has the odd bit of decent form, Petomic is unexposed and from a shrewd yard but stronger claims are held by Global Village who was running on strongly at Yarmouth and looks capable of better yet. This is typically open but Cool Ebony is taken to give the weight away.
