This looks to be quite a tight heat with the vote King Malachi. The fact that the selection is receiving weight from his rivals is the thing that swings the selection in his favour. That and the fact that he showed plenty of promise on his Kempton debut. Lyrical Blues' form is solid enough, with the horse that he beat last time finishing third at Chester last week. And working through Regal Power, there is not too much to choose between him and Green Pride, the latter having scored at Bath last time. More Time improved a good deal for the application of blinkers last time, scoring well at Nottingham, and he too is afforded plenty of respect. The only other runner, Mister Benedictine, would probably be doing pretty well to score at the first time of asking, which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is King Malachi.
