Digital is capable of taking the honours in this contest but Mick Channon's gelding tends to find at least one too good and looks booked for a place at best again with a better bet looking to be HEREFORD BOY, who gets the verdict ahead of Ten Down. Mick Quinn's gelding was a good winner at Lingfield last time and a 2lb rise for that success looks perfectly fair so he has to be respected on his return to turf. Bill Turner's The Lord ran better at Lingfield last time and has slipped to a decent mark but he has not won for some time and looks best watched. Our Piccadilly is less exposed than most of these but he may want more testing ground, while Drifting Gold has been running well in races on the Polytrack of late and has to be considered back on turf. Kyle is capable but inconsistent and may be best watched on his reappearance but preference is for Hereford Boy. Dean Ivory's gelding is another that has been going well on the Polytrack of late and returns to turf on a fair mark so he looks worth chancing.
