AMBROSINNI has form on good ground and gets the vote here, with Coldwells and Guns And Butter are both respected. The David Pipe-trained selection was pulled up last time when tackling 3m 2f for the first time, and now drops back to a much more suitable trip. He acts on any ground, is lightly-raced and open to more improvement over this sort of trip and on the decent ground that he gets today. Coldwells is another dropping back in trip, after being kept to distances beyond three miles of late. She might not appreciate that quite so much as the selection, but she does act on a sound surface and is respected. Guns And Butter does not know how to run a bad race, although he has won only once in 12 starts. Good ground suits him well enough and he is now just 4lbs higher than when winning that sole race over hurdles, so he is not out of it. Doc Row has to shoudler top weight here and is 8lbs higher than when winning over course and distance on soft ground in November. The ground does not look ideal for him and so we will oppose today. La Pantera Rosa is an in-and-out performer and if on a going day could get involved, while I'm Your Man has conditions to suit but might find this just a little too far. Ambrosinni is the one for us.
