PROFESSOR HIGGINS, High Bird Humphrey and Cantgeton all come into this in form but preference is for the first-named. Howard Johnson's chestnut gelding is 10lbs better off with High Bird Humphrey for being beaten a nose when they met last month at Catterick, and he has since come out a romped to a 12 length success at Sedgefield. A thoroughly consistent sort who has finished out of the frame only twice in 11 career starts, he looks progressive and can score on his handicap debut. High Bird Humphrey has an arduous task at the weights but at the least looks good enough to pick up some prize money, while Cantgeton has come back to form of late and was only just touched off from this same mark last time. He acts on decent ground and may well give the selection most to do. He certainly has the measure of Justwhateverulike based on their running here in February, while Schinken Otto has frame claims if putting his best hoof forward. Professor Higgins is a confident choice.
