LUKSAR is taken to win this hunters' chase from Devil Water and Benny Boy. The selection was last seen winning an Alnwick point-to-point a couple of weeks ago, beating decent yardstick Anshan Spirit comfortably. Tony Dobbin's grey gelding holds his form well and jumps well in the process and is taken to break his maiden under rules. Devil Water was an unchallenged 10 length scorer at Overton over 2m 4f last time out and also acts on a sound surface. James Ewart does well with a relatively small team and his gelding looks capable of making the frame. Benny Boy finished fourth in a Sedgefield hunter chase before making all to thrash his field over 3m at Tranwell back in a point last time and is respected. Oca De Thaix was another easy points winner last time, though he was comfortably beaten when last seen in this sphere and he has a bit to prove. Lady Brig and Senora Moss both have frame claims, but we'll side with Luksar.
