Swiss Franc stepped upon his debut effort when running out the good winner of a Newmarket maiden last month and David Elsworth's colt is taken to follow up here at the main expense of In Uniform and Stage Acclaim. The last mentioned, like the selection improved on his first start when a narrow winner at Salisbury last time but this looks tougher so Rod Millman's colt may be best watched. Brian Meehan's Alexander Nepotism is strictly held by In Uniform on running at Bath last month and may not reverse that form, while Paveroc showed some promise on his Ascot debut but needs to improve on that showing to trouble the judge. Queen's Treasure is an interesting newcomer from the yard of Marcus Tregoning but Swiss Franc has the best form on offer and he gets the vote.
