Barbers Shop, Silverburn and Niver Bai are all newcomers that could be good enough first time out and represent stables that have their fair share of winners in this grade but those with experience hold solid claims including Old Benny and Flight Leader and it is the last mentioned that gets the vote. The selection showed promise on his debut behind the useful Kicks For Free before losing no caste in defeat behind Cockspur at Plumpton last time. A reproduction of that latest effort may suffice. Trigger The Light is closely matched with the selection on running last time and is entitled to improve for the run having looked green at Plumpton, while stablemate Old Benny has twice finished behind Wind Instrument and may be booked for a place at best. Colin Tizzard's Nougat de L'Isle has shown ability but needs to improve to trouble the judge. Robert Alner's Miss Mitch is bred to be useful being by King's Theatre, while the son of Saddlers' Hall Barbers Shop represents connections that do well with their runners in this grade. The Paul Nicholls-trained Silverburn is a brother to the stable's useful Denman and it will be interesting to see whether he has a similar level of ability. Henrietta Knight's Niver Bai is related to several winners and is another to consider but Flight Leader has shown a decent level of form and he gets the vote.
