Given the form of runners form the yard of Phillip Hobbs of late, From Dawn To Dusk has to be respected under Richard Johnson but more solid claims on form are held by Paddy Boy who is preferred to Over Bridge. The last mentioned was good value for his win on a fast surface at Uttoxeter in May but struggled off his new mark when last seen and today's softer surface may be against him. Hilarious is a consistent performer and is entitled to be thereabouts again, although he may be a shade high in the weights at present. Buckland Gold is less exposed than most of these and has to be respected along with Taunton winner Penny's Crown. Business Traveller and Pedler's Profiles have bits and pieces of form that give them chances, while Martin Pipe's Its A Cracker has a plater's mark and could be of interest. The vote though goes to Paddy Boy, who disappointed when last seen in January but has solid claims on earlier form and Jim Boyle's gelding has been freshened up by a break.
