CENTIGRADE could prove too hot for this opposition although Mufti and If I Were A Boy are similarly open to improvement. The in-form Willie Haggas has a good record here, albeit not with his juveniles, and there was plenty to like about the debut of this 67,000 guineas purchase who caught the eye staying on well from off the pace in a Newmarket maiden won by Mr David. The form looks solid with the other four in the top five running creditably since whilst Ryan Moore is a positive booking for the yard. Mufti hails from a yard whose juveniles often derive considerable improvement from their initial outings and the Noverre colt holds a string of big race entries. That's not uncommon for one from the yard although there was plenty to like about his debut which looked like it would do him good. It's worth noting that Brian Meehan has a line on Centigrade's form through the winner so the market could prove to be revealing whilst he also saddled a runner in the Newbury maiden in which If I Were A Boy took third. That was a decent effort and she should be competitive if building on the run. Kilmanseck ran in a Newbury maiden that threw up Arcano and Showcasing although he did only beat one home whilst Themanforacrisis was backed to win a fair contest last time only to finish three places behind Valkov. The remainder don't appear to be out of the ordinary so this should concern the market leaders with Centigrade getting the nod.
