Dome Rocket only just did enough when landing a claimer at Wolverhampton last time and this is tougher so William Knight's gelding looks best watched with a better bet looking to be PARC DES PRINCES, who gets the verdict ahead of Mons Calpe. Paul Cole's gelding was good value for his back-to-back successes at Beverley and Folkestone but he was well held off the same mark that he races off today at Windsor last week and now seems to be in the grip of the handicapper. Willie Muir's King's Masque has been well held in all three starts so far but he may do better now racing in a handicap for the first time so he cannot be discounted. Choral Service has similar claims on his first start in the grade for William Haggas, who has his team in good from, but a safer option looks to be Parc des Princes. Andrew Balding's gelding has had plenty of chances but he has shown improved form of late having finished a close third behind Urban Space in a handicap at Windsor on Monday and he is taken to open his account today.
