Honest Quality is better than she showed on her reappearance at Ascot in April but Henry Cecil's filly is hard to back with any confidence following that outing and may struggle to give weight away to GOLDEN STREAM, who gets the vote ahead of Damaniyat Girl. The William Haggas-trained filly ran well in Group 3 races on her first two starts this term and, although she failed to reproduce a similar level of form in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last week, she may do better back over seven furlongs today. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Select has a bit to find with Damaniyat Girl on running at Lingfield, while Tim Easterby's Favourite Girl ran better in a six furlong handicap at York last time but is not certain to appreciate the extra furlong today. Richard Hannon's Shamwari Lodge is less exposed than most of these after just four starts and she has to be considered but does need to improve again. Clive Brittain's Ermine And Velvet looks highly tried and of more interest may be Faraway Flower, who has her first start since running in the Cheveley Park Stakes in October. Paul Cole's Seradim is more than capable of taking a hand in the finish and has to be considered but a better bet looks to be Golden Stream. Sir Michael Stoute's filly showed improved form when finding just Moneycantbuymelove too good in the Sandringham last week, being headed inside the final furlong and she should appreciate the drop to seven furlongs today.
