GHOST DANCER looks well worth a try at the minimum and is suggested ahead of likely candidates such as Babyshambles, Kheylide, Bahamian Ceilidh and The History Man. Babyshambles has been in good form this season and handles these conditions so merits a place on the short-list but he still looks a shade high in the weights. Kheylide disappointed when last seen but had promised to be a progressive sprinter with a couple of good runs at the start of May and may benefit from having been given a short break; the market could be useful. Bahamian Ceilidh has plenty of form to her name which suggests that she's more than good enough to win a race of this nature but her win record is modest and she needs to start translating solid placed efforts to victories. The History Man has an excellent strike rate for one of his ability and is well treated; his recent efforts haven't been too bad either and he rates highly. However, a chance is taken with Ghost Dancer whose form figures are less compelling but his sole success came here from a 5lb higher mark last year. That was over a mile but he's shown plenty of speed on each of his last two starts and it looks worth taking the chance that this experiment will pay off for Ghost Dancer.
