A really good race for the track and one that can be taken by SETA, while Virginia Hall can push her close and Bella Swan and Dever Dream are others short-listed. The selection won on debut over this trip at Newmarket last August and then went close in the Group 2 May Hill at Doncaster. She was out of her depth in the 1,000 Guineas last month but added further success to her CV at Leicester. She acts on fast ground and this looks her optimum trip, and she is the one they all have to beat. Bella Swan relishes fast ground and stays at least a mile, so she wants this to be a test of stamina to bring her own reserves to the fore. William Haggas has placed Dever Dream to win her last three races, all over 6f. She acts on the going and should be able to improve for the step up in trip. Although her form is not as strong as some she merits respect and should pick up some prize money. Virginia Hall was runner-up in a Deauville Group 3 last year but has a bit to find with our pick on their running in the May Hill and may need this return run, so we will stick with Seta.
