A pin job to finish with and it is Ornella who gets the vote in an open race, as much as anything due to his trainer's good form; Moonlight Fantasy and Kangrina join Inch Lodge on the shortlist. The selection has only had two starts in the UK since coming across from France. She hasn't shown too much in those starts but as a consequence she has dropped down the weights and if she handles this quicker ground then she can run well at a big price, with fitness now no concern. Siena Star warrants respect as a course and distance winner, but her recent form has a patchy look to it, so a bigger danger could be Kangrina. She ran a blinder on her recent reappearance and the form has been franked by the winner since. If the market speaks in her favour, then she should probably be sided with ahead of the selection. Gallego should improve for a recent pipe opener, whilst Inch Lodge has a 6lb rise in the weights to contend with following a recent Yarmouth win. Chia hasn't gone as hoped this season, whilst Moonlight Fantasy ran well time and if repeating that run then he wouldn't be a million miles away. Sceilin is another to consider, along with Constant Cheers who should strip fitter today, however it is Ornella who receives the very tentative vote now stepped up in trip.
