Blackwater Stream looks to have a decent opportunity here, with Goose Green, Feisty and Sunstroke the others up for closer scrutiny. The selection is tried over 7f for the first time here and that could prove to be a smart move after he has failed to show enough speed to win over shorter. He does have to prove he handles the ground here, but at these weights and on what we have seen, he looks to be the pick of the bunch. Goose Green is the big danger. He has handled good to soft when winning over course and distance last month, though he has failed to cope with higher marks in handicap company since. Nevertheless this is easier and we expect a bold bid from Mick Channon's gelding. Feisty ran up a fast ground treble in June and July, but has failed to see out a mile on two subsequent starts. This drop back will be in her favour, though she still has to prove she can cope with conditions. Of the remainder, Sunstroke will be suited by the trip, though she is not quite as favoured by the weights here as some. She is a very genuine sort though and if handling cut she will be thereabouts, but we prefer Blackwater Stream to score.
