      Verdict

Barodine gets the confident vote here with Mustamad and Calcutta Cup rated as the main dangers. The selection was well-fancied on his seasonal reappearance at Pontefract when finishing second behind Balanced Budget. He had been working really well at home prior to that run and as the first two came well clear of the rest he looks to have a really solid chance this evening. Mustamad finished behind our selection in that Pontefract race but that was his first run and despite running green he was getting the hang of things in the closing stages. Calcutta Cup was disappointing last time but he had shaped promisingly on his debut over this trip so he could make the frame. However, for the winner we will stick with Barodine who stands out as the best bet on the card.
