Linden Lime, Eastborough and Desert Island Disc are the leading lights in this handicap and the vote is given to Desert Island Disc. The selection won well at Bath last time when beating Simonda and although this mare is now 9-years-old, she is showing no signs of deterioration and she does go well on this track. Linden Lime should give our selection the most to think about as she scored impressively last time at Kempton. However, that was a weak race and she has more on her plate this evening. Eastborough was finishing strongly at Pontefract last time when second behind Thorny Mandate so the step-up in trip will suit and he might be capable of claiming some place money. Archduke Ferdinand was a good second behind Velvet Heights on his seasonal reappearance last month and there may be more to come from him tonight. However, for the winner we will stick with Desert Island Disc.
