Holoko Heights appeals as a potential market mover but he has it all to prove as does Aegean Rose so we'll take a chance with one of the old boys in the field, JACKIE KIELY. There are concerns as to whether this track will suit the selection as his best performances on turf last year came at Pontefract which has a stiffer finish than this Midlands venue. He hasn't been at his best on the all-weather in the interim but was twice placed at Pontefract last season from a mark of sixty three so has a clear chance here racing from a perch of just fifty five if he can bounce back to form. Noah Jameel has been running well without winning and remains feasibly treated so it's not hard to envisage him being in the mix whilst Debdene Bank has run some of her best races when George Baker has been in the plate but she does look vulnerable. Michael Blanshard's string have started the season reasonably well and Aegean Rose may be able to step up on the form that she's shown in maidens but Holoko Heights is a handicap debutant with more appeal. He's bred to come into his own now that he's stepped up in trip and the market can often prove a decent guide to runners from this yard so keep an eye on the ring to see if he attracts support; if he doesn't then it may be worth taking Jackie Kiely to gain a fifteenth career success.
