VADUZ may be able to take the honours ahead of Island Express and Bathwick Gino. Stan Moore and Andy Haynes have both saddled winners of this seller in recent years and they are represented by two of the likelier candidates this time around. Island Express was quite well backed ahead of his debut in a Folkestone maiden but was too green to do himself justice and never got competitive. He's swiftly dropped in grade and may be able to reproduce the form that he's been showing on the gallops. Bathwick Gino is related to winners and from a yard that's in form although they don't send out too many juvenile winners; the jockey booking is a positive. Dinky Deb and Transfixed are others that make some appeal but Vaduz could emerge as a bigger threat following an encouraging debut at Bath. She may have finished nearer last than first but she ran on well despite being short of room to be beaten under four lengths and Vaduz will find this company more to her liking.
