In the finale, Kernel Dowery gets the vote ahead of Summer Bounty and Acuzio. Summer Bounty is back to the mark from which he won here over slightly shorter last time and is entitled to go well if in that type of form. Course and distance form from last June would give Kernel Dowery a very good chance, while Garston Star is well weighted if connections can get him back to his 2004 form. Given his profile, it's a bit surprising that Eamon An Chnoic has attracted some money in his last two races, so watch the market again, while Acuzio cannot be ruled out of a good run from his current rating. Picot de Say has been running well over hurdles of late but needs to build on Flat form, while Figaro's Quest needs slight improvement from a winning point of view, but it would be no surprise to see Rafelite show some improvement here from his canny yard. Finally, Ganymede still has to conclusively prove his effectiveness from his current mark which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Kernel Dowery.
