Verdict

A wide open contest gets proceedings underway and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Money Money Mate, Stonacre Fred and Mystic Queen and the vote is given to Money Mate. The selection won well last time out when beating Malady Penelope and although having a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and he is taken to defy the handicapper from a good draw. Stonacre Fred rates the main danger on his latest third behind Garlogs but he looks weighted up to his best Mystic Queen hails from a yard in form and could go well at a price but she is another that looks high enough in the weights and is hard to win with. Sara¿s Art was a fair second behind Arzaaq but consistency is not her strong point. Axis Sheild is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he has been done no favours by the draw. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Money Mate to small stakes.
