Top Bid was the easy winner of a Leicester last time and can follow up here, with Opal Noir and Siren's Gift likely to prove his closest pursuers. The selection did not beat much at Leicester but he did score by eight lengths, which is form that looks good enough to land this, especially when he is open to further improvement over this minimum trip. Opal Noir won a good ground Redcar maiden at the first time of asking in May, before being slightly unlucky here next time. With over a month to freshen up since Howard Johnson's colt is respected here. Siren's Gift showed promise at Salisbury last time but needs to come on a few pounds if he is to take this and with more to come from Top Bid, we take Tim Easterby's colt to score.
