Verdict

Three trainers with runners here, Tim and Mick Easterby, plus Ed Dunlop have all landed this maiden in recent times, but all may be vulnerable to Michael Jarvis's debutante Makshoof. The selection is bred to go well over further in time, but being by Kyllachy he should possess plenty of speed, and provided he is straight enough for his first run he can take this. Perlachy has the best form on the board of those with experience and Tim Easterby has brought him along steadily. Another son of Kyllachy, he went well at Redcar on firm ground last time and can make an impact again. Mick Easterby runs Spence's Choice, who would be a shock winner, Mark Johnston saddles Fujisan who can go well but will be better with age, while Evens And Odds should not be written fof despite a disappointing debut. It should prove informative then, and we'll chance Makshoof for a debut victory.
