Aahgowangowan was good value for his win in an apprentices' handicap at Thirsk on Tuesday and has an obvious chance of following up here getting the vote ahead of Ruby's Dream and Divine White. The last mentioned has run well in his last two starts and is entitled to be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for a minor role, while Cerulean Rose disappointed at Newbury last time and may want a softer surface. Speed of Sound is less exposed than most of these but needs to improve and of more interest may be Extremely Rare, who looks to be going the right way. Recent Leicester winner Ruby's Dream remains on a fair mark and has to be considered but Aahgowangowan has an obvious chance and he gets the vote.
