Diamond Yas's form shines like a beacon in this field but we're going to take her on with Fonda. Market support for our selection on debut would be encouraging whilst Fancy Footsteps, Suede and Take It Easee are others to keep an eye on in the market. The selection is the one that takes the eye on pedigree as she is a half-sister to the supremely talented Layman. She was bought for around 78,000 gns as a yearling but this rose to 370,000 gns as a juvenile due in part, presumably, to the exploits of her sibling. She has no fancy entries but her trainer has an excellent strike rate and an excellent level stakes profit at this track. Diamond Yas shaped with considerable promise in a Yarmouth maiden which has worked out quite well and she's entitled to be in the thick of the action on that evidence; she certainly showed more on that outing than the remainder with experience. Other newcomers to bear in mind are Suede and Fancy Footsteps whose jockey is a positive booking for the yard but we'll be hoping that Fonda can take centre stage.
