A fillies maiden that may not take much winning and LA ADELITA is likely to take all the beating on the evidence of her fifth placing on debut in a Newbury maiden. She was outpaced in the middle part of the race but was noted doing her best work in the closing stages. The step up to seven furlongs will suit while the ground should not pose a problem. Two places behind La Adelita was Shamwari Lodge at Newbury. Richard Hannon's Hawk Wing filly is likely to be more effective over further. She was not staying on to the same effect as La Adelita at Newbury and while she should benefit considerably for the experience, it is Michael Bell's filly who gets the vote. My Best Bet and Kiyari are two newcomers of interest given the yards from which they hail. David Simcock's two contenders are worth keeping a close eye on in the market but La Adelita is the selection.
