A competitive start to proceedings and from a shortlist of Sweet Smile, More Than Many and River Dee we will side with SWEET SMILE. The selection is a lightly-raced type and this colt from the Kevin Ryan yard will have no problems handling the ground conditions. He had a couple of his rivals behind him at Haydock last time when he chased home Polish Pride and he makes plenty of appeal. More Than Many made a winning racecourse debut at Ripon and although he will need to progress to win this, he is a scopey type and there should be more to come. The ground will also be in his favour. River Dee has enjoyed a good season and although he should go on the ground, he is probably better on a quicker surface and for that reason he is opposed. Cutting Comments will relish the ground but this trip is an unknown for him and he finished behind our selection last time. A tough start for punters and the vote is given to Sweet Smile.
