Mel Brittain's SEA CREST is given the vote in this maiden with Desert Falls and Paddy Bear likely to give her the most to think about. The selection has had a few chances, but she lost no caste in defeat last time when she was the subject of strong market support. She will try and make all and if she is given an easy lead then she could be hard to catch. Desert Falls ran a fair race when fourth behind Needwood Lad on soft ground at Newcastle last month. He should again run his race but he will need to improve to take this and he does have his quirks so the percentage call is to take him on. Paddy Bear is interesting as he did not have the race run to suit last time, but the worry with him is that he has yet to run on anything other than quick ground. Shining Times, Silent Wonder and No Quarter Given are interesting newcomers and the market will be a guide to their chance. However, Sea Crest sets a fair standard and she is taken to finally get her head in front.
