LUCAYOS remains well-handicapped on the best of his form and can land this where the likes of Kelamon and North South Divide could pose the biggest threats. The selection, a five time all-weather winner found just one too good last time at Lingfield and dropped 2lb for that outing, he can do the business here. The stiff six and testing conditions did not suit on his penultimate start, he is a winner in soft ground previously. Speaking of soft ground specialists, there is none more so than Kelamon who has been apprentice ridden on his last number of starts. He ran very well in a better contest than this on his penultimate start. North South Divide is a maiden after ten outings but has the beating of Kelamon based on their clash at Windsor in June. He shows very good gate pace and added to that a low draw is a benefit. Rabbit Fighter a four time all-weather winner has form on easy surfaces while Support Fund, who has not scored since Warwick in May, has indicated a return to winning ways may not be too far away but the trip would be the concern. Street Star has been rather disappointing this season while Royal Envoy looks too high in the handicap at the moment. Lucayos is nominated to land the six furlong handicap.
