A big field and from a shortlist of Cavendish Road, Almazar and EVERAARD is the last-named who comes out on top. The selection has been an eye catcher in recent defeats, filling third spot at both this track and most recently at Windsor under Amy Baker. Martin Dwyer looks an eye-catching jockey booking and the duo are fancied to lead them home from a good draw. La Gifted is consistent, and along with Lucky Fortune and the returning Spring Secret is not to be overlooked. Achromatic tries a visor for the first time but needs to improve, as does Almazar but his stable are in good form and the step up in trip looks likely to suit for this handicap debut. Cavendish Road has a 6lb penalty for his recent Folkestone win but he doesn't look ideally drawn today and the feeling is that he will need to improve, although it must be remembered that he started off life in handicaps rated 77. At a price Bob Stock needs watching in the betting but it is Everaard who is taken to lead them home.
