        Verdict

        SIX WIVES ran with promise on her debut and taken to break her maiden tag this time around at the expense of Kings Of Leo and Angel Of Fashion. The selection finished sixth of eleven on her debut at Newmarket in a maiden contest that looked well above average. This is certain to be a drop in grade and if she can improve for her race experience she will not be too far away. Kings Of Leo caught the eye when fifth of fifteen on her debut at Windsor last month. Again there is certain to be further improvement to come so any market moves should be noted. Angel Of Fashion comes from the Barry Hills stable which are in fine form in the early part of the season. But she will need to improve from her debut run at Newbury in which she finished nearer last than first so is therefore best watched for the time being. So for the winner we return to Six Wives.
