Bartercard is the selection for this moderate affair with Steig and Cap St Jean put up as the dangers. Stef Liddiard's charge won a similar event over seven furlongs at Salisbury and while it was disappointing that he put up a no show at Kempton, if back to anything like his best form, he has to be the percentage call. Steig is a far from easy ride. James Doyle was able to persuade him to victory at Brighton and Jim Crowley will deputise today. Cap St Jean was a frustrating sort when trained by Geoff Wragg. He is probably at his best trip on this occasion and Reg Hollinshead's team appear to be running respectably at present. Casablanca Minx's form looks to have tailed off badly of late. The all-weather specialist has won twice on the turf but hasn't shown enough for our liking. The Jailer is likely to try and run from the gun. Sistos Fascination looked above average for this level when scoring at Kempton but was disappointing at Leicester. Ten To The Dozen and Follow The Buzz are hard to fancy. A bad race in which Bartercard can only be offered up to the most minimal of stakes.
