Verdict

Hallmark Harry sets the standard whilst Great Hero is of interest with both trainer and jockey in great form but a chance is taken with Nigel Twiston-Davies' newcomer MULRANNY. The Cotswold based handler has a useful record here with his bumper runners and Mulranny certainly makes some appeal on paper as he's related to winners on the level and it would be no surprise to see him go close at the first time of asking with his yard in form. Denis O'Regan has come in for some useful rides in recent weeks and is an interesting engagement for Mick Easterby's Hallmark Harry who came within a head of scoring at Perth in a four runner race. Great Hero has plenty to prove but is one to monitor in the market along with Don Pooleoni who is out of a bumper winner and from a yard that does well with their runners in this sphere but we prefer Mulranny.
