MONKHAIR runs under penalty after a really impressive win at Cartmel earlier this month and we side with her despite the extra weight ahead of Racingisdreaming and Richo. The pick won twice in June here over this trip and can return to the scene of her success to grab a victory after delivering a solid run to claim the win at Cartmel when beating Bonzeno Queen by thirteen lengths. Lee Edwards has ridden all three of these wins and retains the ride despite almost slipping out of the saddle when clear of the rest of the field latest. He claims 5lbs on board Tony Carroll's entry. Racingisdreaming unseated his rider when last seen at this track and we avoid today despite a better third place since then. Richo was seventeen lengths behind the selection most recently but has improved with each run this year and if progressing again could narrow that gap. However, Monkhair can take this race and see off the competition. With no concerns over the trip or conditions she can add to her trainer's 20% strike-rate at this course this year.
