Jordan has a penalty and therefore it may pay to side with one of Mewstone or Midsummer Magic, with the vote going to Mewstone. The market will help guide to the chances of the newcomers, with Go On Be A Lady, Miss Carroll and Smuglin looking the most interesting, however there is some fair form on offer already and so Mewstone gets the nod. Tom George's nicely-related daughter of Supreme Leader showed up for a long way at Chepstow on desperate ground. Today's better surface looks sure to suit and with that experience under her belt she should run a big race. Rith Bob and Callerlilly have both shown ability, but not quite as much as Midsummer Magic who ran well in third behind a stablemate at Fakenham. She should not be far away today. Jordan won a weak race at Plumpton well on her debut but her penalty leaves her looking vulnerable, and so we will return to Mewstone for the winner.
