White On Black has plenty of ability but he doesn't always put it all in and so preference instead is for Papillon De Iena ahead of Reelinga. The selection has been plying his trade over fences of late but now reverts back to hurdles. The last time that we saw him in this company he finished a close up third and with the ground to suit he must go close. Mike Simmons, a course and distance winner, needs to be watched in the betting as he returns from a lengthy absence, whilst Pelo Du Bief and Reelinga both have some ability and need to go on a shortlist. Achilles Wings and Reminiscent should both be fit from recent runs on the flat but neither has been seen over hurdles for some time. Brochura won the last time we saw him at Plumpton, and he needs consideration on his first run since that win in March of last year, however it is Papillon De Iena who receives the vote.
