Charlie Longsdon looks to have found a gilt-edged opportunity for NO NO MAC to follow up his first chasing success when a decisive winner at Market Rasen in the first week of this month. That was a major improvement on his first two runs of the year but the application of first-time blinkers seemed to focus the Oscar gelding and it will be disappointing if he cannot follow up here with the headgear retained. High Counsel looks the likeliest beneficiary should the favourite fail to fire as he has an Irish hurdle win and a open point-to-point win to his name, although latest runs under Rules have failed to reveal any sparkle. Fitz Volonte can claim the minor placing.
