In depth

Verdict

Saphire Night won well last time and can go in again today at the main expense of Burn Brook and Mrs O'Malley. The selection scored stylishly when beating Share My Dream by a wide margin at Uttoxeter. That form is fairly modest but she could not have been any more impressive and with nominal improvement she should prove tough to beat if she handles this faster ground. Burn Brook was well beaten when finishing second behind King Triton last time but although he is entitled to make the frame he will probably need to improve to get his head in front. Mrs O'Malley is another that was well beaten last time and all her best form is on testing ground so for that reason she is taken on. Divine Wisdom is an interesting newcomer and is worth noting in the market in what is a very weak race. However, Saphire Night made a winning debut and can land this prize as well.
