After a fine second to Zoffany at Naas, Scriobhai ran a shocker at Leopardstown where he folded tamely after being headed 2f out in that 6f affair. Trans City is a newcomer to note but this should chiefly concern FREE ART and Griffin, who both made promising starts. The latter, who is a half-brother to the French 2000 Guineas winner Ashkalani, ran well enough behind Eskimo here last month to suggest there is more to come but Free Art looks the one to be on as he belied a 40/1 starting price with a cracking debut effort behind Snow Mountain and the odds-on Sydney Harbour at Limerick.
