Verdict
Canary Row made a very promising return to action in the Irish Lincolnshire where he was up with the pace for most of the way before finishing fifth. He's only won once in 20 starts but generally operates at a decent level. Colour Blue wasn't too far behind him in that Curragh event and she's another who invariably performs well in fair company. There should be little between the pair and fitness could be an issue though ALKASSER is comfortably clear on official ratings. Dermot Weld's charge completed a double last spring, including a Listed contest at the Curragh, and ended the campaign when well beaten in the Irish Champion Stakes.
