In depth

Verdict

Primo Uomo hasn't been seen since May when he landed the odds in a Down Royal maiden. His earlier form entitles him to the greatest respect though the runner-up in that latter event is now rated just 66 so a mark 20lb higher looks stiff. Splashtop has the advantage of a run at the Curragh though her best form is over further and she's been tried at 1m1f. Great Wide Open has a similar profile as her three runs to date have all been over longer trips but Sors started off very well on testing ground last season and never had those conditions again. Ohh Lala found 7f too far at Leopardstown in October though she looked in need of every yard of the extended 6f when scoring at Sligo. WELL DONE ME was up with the pace all the way on her reappearance at the Curragh and only faded inside the final furlong over that 6f trip. She's yet to win but is fairly treated and can make her fitness count.
