    Verdict

Assuming she can master Johnmanderville early on, FESKO may be able to dictate to her rivals and she can add to her recent course and distance success. Mark Johnston's filly likes a mile on quick ground and she is a front-runner who is hard to pass when on song. Following a winning filly can often be a profitable approach and she can win despite a 6lb rise in the weights. Palacefield was a winner last time at Chepstow and the form doesn't look too bad; this opening mark of 80 looks tough enough however. Yirga won nicely last time at Sandown but he was held up and he looks the type who would need a strong pace so his jockey will be hoping that Johnmanderville takes on Fesko and sets the race up for a closer. Cornish Castle completes the field and he is not to be underestimated with the drop in trip in his favour. He tries the blinkers for the first time which is interesting and this mark of 73 may not be beyond him. A small field but intriguing fayre none the less, and we will stick with Fesko.
